A 2007 Office System Enterprise Content Management presentation that I have pulled together and will hopefully be useful to others that need to present on this topic:

Visual Studio Tools for Office v3 June CTP

The Visual Studio Tools for Office "v3" June CTP gives developers who are using the beta 2 release of the 2007 Microsoft Office system an early glimpse at some of the key new features and feature directions in the area of Microsoft Office programmability.

These features include extensibility of the new Microsoft Office UI, the new Office Open XML file formats, and support for customizable application-level task panes across Microsoft Office system applications. The next version of Visual Studio Tools for Office is designed to help developers take advantage of these new capabilities, as well as to provide additional infrastructure to ensure that Microsoft Office solutions created with managed code run more reliably, efficiently and securely.

Content Deployment - MOSS 2007

From Tyler Butler ...

There's been a lot of interest in learning more about the WCM feature set that has been built into MOSS and how Internet-facing sites can be built, maintained, and supported on top of MOSS. In this post, I'll cover how a particular WCM feature called Content Deployment supports multi-farm topologies and can be used to enable authoring -> staging -> production scenarios. I'll talk a little about previous solutions to the problem, give you an overview of the Content Deployment feature, and discuss the architecture of the feature in-depth.

ISORecorder ... Virtual Server - copying files to the virtual machine

I've just started using Virtual Server 2005 RC 2 instead of Virtual PC.

One of the nice things that Virtual PC offers is that you can copy files to the virtual machine by simply dragging and dropping files onto the virtual machines desktop. This feature is not available in Virtual Server and is a pain especially when the virtual machine is running on an isolated network.

The simple solution I've found is IsoRecorder ... this provides a Windows Explorer shell extension that enables a folder to be quickly converted to an ISO format disk image which can then be attached 'on the fly' to the CD Drive running within the VS virtual machine.
