It wishes it was near the iphone... the nokia n95 has better specs.
1. poor battery life 2. no microsd to expand storage (and makes your purchased sat nave programs useless 3. no flash 4. only 3.2 megapixel camera. 5 propreitary head phone socket. 6. no multitouch
comments on the net are coming up from people who say that the device is clunky and unresponsive.
but wait it has a revolutionary shiny interface--- I learned my lesson with windows vista -- No thanks htc... Try again..

Erm...You're late. HTC's iPhone competitor was the HTC Touch, released around a year ago. The Touch Diamond has the upgrades that original Touch users want, but without the poor drivers of the Touch Cruise.

1. How do you know that? 2. Still better than the iPhone (it has GPS), and some spec sheets imply it may have MicroSD. 3. Wrong. 3.2MP autofocus with flash. 4. And the iPhone? 5. It has bluetooth and there are convertors for normal headphones for other HTC Devices (same port as the Touch/Touch Dual) 6. WM6/6.1 does not support this, but the iPhone only utilizes this in pictures and maybe the internet...
"comments on the net are coming up from people who say that the device is clunky and unresponsive." It hasn't been released yet, almost certainly drivers are patchy ATM.
"but wait it has a revolutionary shiny interface--- I learned my lesson with windows vista -- No thanks htc... Try again.." A. What's wrong with Vista? B. What's wrong with Manilla/TouchFOl 3D?

WELL:
1 - Can't be worse than the n95 i have - if so, buy a better battery and put it in - its not hard. 2 - 4GB is plenty - plenty for a satnav prog, pic and music - ITS NOT AN IPOD! 3 - No flash? Oh well. It has autofocus. 4 - 'only' 3.2 megapixel - look mate, your thick, its not about mega pixels. all that means is how BIG THE PICTURE WILL BE NOT THE WUALITY....even so, if you want amazing 5 megal pixel image, still avoid the N95...get a decent compact or SLR camera! 5 - The N95 is one of only a few phones with 3.5mm jack, so what? if its a problem, get an adaptor - its 99p! 6 - As for multi touch - who cares? This is hardly trying to be the iclone... otherwise how can any touch phone be any good without being dubbed a clone to it?! Its windows, and without a doubt inspired but it goes in its own directions - I mean the menus aren't efen the same! Example of a iphone clone - Samsung Omnia
iPhone is useless 2MP Camera on iPhone 90% of HTC phones have Micro SD so this should have. You cannot receive MMS with iPhone. This HTC interacts with exchange properly because is is Microsoft and I can bet it will be better priced. The only thing iPhone have is its looks but its not a business phone.
